"what categories are in your coupon binder?".
for example, my household section was about 15 coupon pages....
when i would look for a coupon, i would flip through page after page. after a while i noticed a trend in what items could be broken apart. now my household items are broken down into additional categories like candles/air fresheners, household cleaners, home office supplies, and the like.
i did the same thing with the beauty section...
what i needed for this quick project was my coupon binder, label maker, and 3 packs of target brand index dividers...
these are only $.97 for a package of 5 at target...
and i had some new coupons to clip anyway. it was just a good time in general to re-organize a update a bit..
Cathy, here is my complete list of divided sections....
diapers
wipes
beverage
condiment
canned foods
pasta/rice
cereal
dairy
frozen
baking
desserts
candy
crackers
chips
gum
snacks
paper products
pets
haircare
feminine hygiene
dental
lotions
body soap
laundry
household cleansers
home office
batteries
candles/air fresheners
dish soaps
ziploc/trash bags/saran/foil

Thank you for this post, I am going to re-organize my binder using your categories they make more sense than the ones I currently have.
ReplyDeletegreat! so glad this one helped you too! i know, the categories are tough...and really, i think the easiest way is to add new categories as you see fit. i had been using the same categories for a long time but once i noticed i have too many home product coupons, it was time to narrow down that category even further.
Deletelet me know how it works out for you!
