today i'm wrapping up a little blog binder organization over here in my work space. over the last few months i realized just how much disorganization was going on in my little binder. to help me stay on top of my blogging game, i created 4 simple printable's. since putting these together, i've been able to put them to good use. if needed, i hope they help you as well.
the final blog binder section i needed to whip into shape was product income. this is one of those areas of blogging that maybe not everyone is interested in tracking. but i wanted and needed to track this area of the blog. why?
1. product income does technically count as income.
2. this form can also act as a close cousin to my blog milestone tracker. i'm still loving those SentrySafe and Martha Stewart product reviews and giveaways...that was both a product income line item as well as just a fun milestone. i was so excited they reached out to me.
and 3. many times the product income arrives by way of a coupon code to redeem at a later date. for example, when my awesome friends over at shutterfly ask if i'm interested in helping with a campaign, they don't pay me cold cash. they offer a free product code....and i am all about that because i love their products and have been buying them for years! but the problem is, as with most coupons - they do have an expiration date. after letting one of the codes accidentally lapse (boo!) i quickly learned that tough lesson and decided to create a better tracking system.
here's the simple tracking form i created...
there's a spot for the source (company), date, item received, value, coupon code and expiration date...
if you have been looking for a blog printable such as this, i hope it comes in handy. you can download it right here...
